PRINCE CHARLES TESTS POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS

Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, tested positive for the novel coronavirus, his office said Wednesday.

The 71-year-old Prince of Wales has mild symptoms and “remains in good health,” according to a statement.

Meanwhile, as a national debate raged over the duration and severity of restrictions aimed at containing the coronavirus outbreak in the United States, political leaders in Washington reached an agreement on a $2 trillion stimulus package to rescue the economy.

The developments bolstered Asian and European markets, and U.S. stock futures and oil prices also edged higher.
