Amazon becomes world’s most valuable brand

Amazon has become the world’s most valuable brand at $315.5 billion, beating Google and Apple, according to a ranking of global companies on Tuesday. Apple has come second with $309.5 billion, while Google settled in third place at $309 billion, the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brand ranking list said. The list is compiled by WPP research agency Kantar. In the list which includes 15 Chinese companies, Alibaba beat Tencent with $131.2 billion against $130.9 billion and became the most valuable Chinese brand.
